We are pleased to announce the 8th International Symposium on Contemporary Labor Economics at the Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE), Xiamen University, China. We invite submissions from all areas related to labor economics, including but not limited to education, unemployment, income inequality, migration, and the labor market impact of trade and globalization. Empirical research on or theoretical work with empirical applications to the Chinese labor market is particularly welcome.

PAPER SUBMISSION AND REGISTRATION

Researchers interested in participating should submit their papers through our online portal at http://www.wise.xmu.edu.cn/meetings/LABOR2015. The submission deadline is October 10, 2015. Decisions of acceptance will be announced by October 20, 2015.

There is an onsite registration fee of $200 (1,200 RMB) forfaculty/professionalsand $100 (600RMB) for students. The registration fee covers up to 3 nights of hotel room and meals for both days of the conference.
