Gender and Health Workshop

The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) “Gender and Health” Workshop will be held on UNNC campus in Ningbo, Zhejiang on March 14, 2019, hosted by Centre for Health Economics, School of Economics, Faculty of Humanity and Social Sciences, UNNC. The Centre is also part of the Nottingham China Health Institute. Co-organizers include the Chinese Economists Society (CES), the Chinese Women Economists Network (CHWEN), and the Camphor Economists Circle (CEC).

The Workshop welcomes submissions in fields of economics. The workshop prefers but is not limited to topics on gender economics and health economics in China, with particular attention to the intersection of gender and health. Early-career scholars and postgraduates (Master and PhD candidates) are especially encouraged to submit papers.

Paper Submission:

For those who are interested in presenting a paper in the workshop, please submit your abstract through this form by February 15th, 2019. Authors will be notified of decisions by February 25th, 2019.

Registration:

Speakers and presenters are not required to register. Accommodation will be provided for speakers and presenters. Meals will be provided for all participants. Details on registration and accommodation are forthcoming.
