Introduction to Sponsor：
Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance (SLUAF) is a reputable public university with special focus on accounting and finance. In March 2016, directed by Shanghai Municipal Government, Shanghai Lixin University of Commerce and Shanghai Finance University merged into SLUAF. Shanghai Lixin University of Commerce was established in 1928 by Pan Xulun, the founding father of China’s accounting system. The predecessor of Shanghai Finance University was Shanghai Banking School founded by People's Bank of China in 1952. SLUAF has three campuses in Songjiang, Pudong and Xuhui district, covering an area of more than 1200 acres. The school has 2.4 million books in various languages, 14 teaching experimental bases and 146 stable internship partners. Additionally, SLUAF offers 33 undergraduate majors and 1 master degree to more than 20,000 students, including 18,000 4-year undergraduates and 2000 2-year college students.

Accounting major was awarded “National Special Honor Program” in 2008. The pilot program for innovation in educating accounting talents received national level recognition in 2009.Business Administration (accounting major) has been recognized as“tier-1discipline,”"five-star potential field," and “plateau discipline, ” all ranked by Shanghai Municipal Government. Furthermore, Accounting is the “key focus” discipline as designated by Shanghai municipal education commission (2008).Auditing is authorized to offer MSc in Auditing(2011). BDO China Shu Lun Pan certified public accountants LLP, our industry partner, is listed as a national-level college graduates internship base and Shanghai municipal teacher training base(2012).Our financial accounting faculty group is recognized as a “National Teaching Excellence Team” (2011).Lixin & Kingdee teaching center of accounting practice and Lixin & Kingdee practitioner &educator integration base, are the special joint programs advocated by the ministry of education (2017).

Theme of the Conference
The theme of the conference is broadly defined as “Accounting and Finance: International Experience and Application in China”.We especially encourage submission of original theoretical and empirical works that employ scientific research methods. While all the papers in broad accounting and finance fields are welcome, the conference organizers particularly welcome those papers that can integrate the common wisdom in the academic literature with the specific institutional and cultural setting of China. Both English and Chinese are working languages. The conference is open to both domestic and oversea scholars and practitioners in the fields of accounting and finance.

Selection Process:
A subset of submissions will be accepted via the communication review procedure by the review committee. Accepted papers will be presented by their author(s) and discussed by a subject-matter expert.

Registration Fee, Transportation and Lodging:
There is no registration fee. The participants are responsible for their own lodging and travelling expenses. The conference organizers can help participants book hotel.

Submission:
1. Submissions are not limited to empirical research. We encourage theoretical innovation that is likely to generate significant impact in the future.
2.Manuscripts should be unpublished original academic paper with clearly defined research topic, correct data, rigorous research method, and complete reference. All submissions are subject to blind review.
3.Submissions should include: (1) Cover page. Please use the standard cover page to provide required information.. Co-authored manuscripts should indicate the corresponding author and contact information;(2) Title-page: titles, abstract (within 300 words) and keywords;(3) Main Text of the Manuscript; (4) References, Tables & Figures/Charts. Please use PDF format.
4.Manuscripts can be written in Chinese or English, and should be limited to 15,000 words (including charts, references, appendices, etc.) maximum. Submissions should be made by E-mail before the deadline. Name your attachment as "(author's name) title of the paper”, and specify "author's name +Accounting and Finance: International Experience and Application in China " in the email subject line
5.Submission deadline is April 20th, 2018 (by E-mail delivery date). Email notification of acceptance will be sent out by May 2nd, 2018.
