The 2nd Camphor Economist Circle (CEC) Workshop for English Working Papers will be held in Dalian on 24th December, 2016. It will be hosted by the Dalian University of Technology in association with The Camphor Economist Circle, as well as the Review of Industrial Economics (《产业经济评论》,ISSN 2095-7572).
The 2nd CEC workshop welcomes submissions in all areas of economics. It is hoped that the papers presented at the workshop will represent a broad spectrum of applied and theoretical economics and econometrics. Young economists and graduate students are especially encouraged to submit papers. The preferences will be given to full-length papers written in English, but long abstracts (1-2 pages) are also welcome.
Paper submission
For those who are interested in presenting a paper in the workshop, please send your full paper or long abstract in pdf version to cece2016@yeah.net by November 10th, 2016. Please use subject “Your Name + Title of Your Paper” when submit. Authors will be notified of decisions by November 25th, 2016.
Conference Fees
There is no registration fee.
Generous grants will be provided to young researchers who present during the conference. The grants will cover accommodation expenses but not travel expenses.

The Camphor Economist Circle (CEC) was initiated by some young scholars from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), Harvard University, University of Toronto, etc.. It aims to create an open and free discussion platform for young scholars in economics from China and abroad.
